Announcement regarding Year 10 Assessment

The principals of the 4 Junior High Schools, in consultation with their Governors, have agreed arrangements for the 2020-2021 transfer process. This agreement has been taken in the best interests of all our young people. A combination of Christmas assessments/examinations and transfer examinations will be used to compile the rank order. In a contingency situation, the Junior High Schools could use continuous assessment from Year 10. In a situation where the aforementioned assessments/examinations were not possible, continuous assessment and/or standardised data could be used. We trust that this gives you some reassurance in a context which remains fluid.
